Wriddhiman Saha became the first Indian wicket-keeper to effect 10 dismissals in a Test during the fourth day of the first Test between India and South Africa in Newlands on Monday.
Saha took a catch off the bat of Morne Morkel which was the ninth wicket of the South African innings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni held the previous record of nine dismissals during the Melbourne Test in Australia during the 2014-15 series.
Saha took five catches in the first innings and as many in South Africa's second innings. India seamers ripped through South Africa to leave India chasing 208.
The Indians themselves crumbled on a tough surface in the chase.
